My name is Cori Beach, and I am the primary content creator for CB Teaching. I currently hold a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies K-8, master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction, master's degree in educational leadership and content endorsement in Special Education, Mild to Moderate. My newest adventure is a doctorate, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026. 

I have taught for 12 years in Title 1, high-poverty schools. Currently, I serve as an Instructional Coach and ELA Content Lead at my school. Throughout these years, I have learned so much and continue to learn daily. I truly enjoy helping other teachers love their profession. Teaching is the happiest work there is. 

I have currently been studying and learning more about the Science of Reading and how building background knowledge, decoding and phonics is essential to helping all learners become confident readers. I can't wait to learn and grow with you through this process! 

At home, I am known as mom to four amazing humans and wife to a tech-savvy husband. We enjoy traveling and spending time as a family in the great outdoors. My daughter and I are both true book nerds so we can often be found in our local library or bookstore.

My name is Maria Cates, and I am the content translator for CB Teaching. I was born and raised in San Jose De Buenavista Chalchihuites, from Zacatecas state Mx. I moved to Texas after I finished my associate degree in marketing from The Technologic University of Zacatecas State (UTEZ). 

When I started working with Hispanic kids, I recognized my passion and decided to become an educator. I went back to college and I graduated with my B.S.I.S. in. Bilingual Education from Texas A&M Texarkana. Then, I obtained my M.ED in Bilingual Education from University of Texas at El Paso. 

I have been working in education for 15 years, working for my community, spreading the benefits of bilingualism. 

My name is Noah Beach, and I am the IT Specialist for CB Teaching. My job is to support with all things technology related. 

I am skilled in computer programming, website development, AppSheet app development, and the Google Suite of products.
